Bowtech Allegiance Draw Length Adjustment

Deerhead

I am thinking about buying a new Bowtech Allegance. How do you adjust the draw length? Do you have to adjust timing of the cams and if so how? I am curious after reading another board. I know I will get honest answers here. Tnx!

in the 2005 and older you have to change modules....

2006 and forward have an adjustable DL.....I'm not positive on the exact steps and would take it to a dealer to adjust mine.

It will require a vice, and I don't have one.

The 2007 Allegiance uses Modules and a sliding draw stop to adjust the draw length/let-off. You probably won't have to mess with the cam timing unless you change the strings and cables to an aftermarket pair. In which case you would need a bow press, but it would be best to have a Pro Shop to do it because there are optimum cam positions for each model. If you do need to adjust the timing, it is a matter of twisting the cables and string like you would time a double cam. It is a little different than timing a double cam, but is the same idea.

2005 required cam changes for different draw lengths. 2006 and 2007 are draw length adjustable by modules.

short stop

reguardless of yr mod , its a durn good bow . I shot one for awhile as a loaner . I opted for the shorter DL of the Bowtech Tribute by 1 '' . I have been very pleased and all the dead deer in 2006 are thankful as well .
* cam changes on a pre 2005 model Alligence will cost ya a ball park of about $50 give or take a few depending on where ya get em from .
Id buy the new one .

Not sure at all!!! I know he's about a 31" draw and this what I was told. That does seem awfully quick!!!!

232fps is awfully SLOW.. most bows are in the 300's these
days with some in the 320's +
My Elite Synergy at 71lbs, 29.5" draw and 350 grain arrow shoots 330fps

How are you liking your Elite Frank? Speed? Accuracy?

I'm loving it Trey.. so much lighter than the Martin SlayR and faster. The owner of the local archery shop shot mine the other night. He loved the fact it had no hand shock, was so quite and so fast. His chrono was broken so we didn't get to play with speeds,, but the birth cert said 71.6# 29.5" draw, 350 grain arrow = 330fps
Accuarcy is a bit of a problem.. I've been busting nocks off

you can't go wrong with a Bowtech.
